Welcome to Rock Bottom
Mad John would say that “you haven't lived until you've hit Rock Bottom.” While that may be the case for some, our idea of rock bottom is a bit softer.
The cabins at Rock Bottom are located along the Penns Creek, one of the best trout streams on the east coast and home to turkeys, deer, bald eagles and, some rather large fish stories. We are a short drive from State College and just North of the small town of Laurelton, near the village of Glen Iron. Check our guidelines and registration forms for additional information, and as always, let us know if you have any specific needs or questions. Our staff is here to help you unplug and unwind!
Each cabin comes with a set of bedding and towels and robes for each guest. A set of natural bath amenities that are not only good for you but safe for our environment. Catering options for both include meals for two that you prepare or meals prepared on site for you and your group. Contact us for a list of our current selections as we use only seasonal and local fare.
There are 5 primitive sites (tents and pop-ups only) on the water that sit at the confluence of the Penns and Middle Creeks flowing south into the Susquehanna River via the old Susquehanna channel systems. Larger camper and RV sites are limited.
Cost: $25 per site/per night with a 4 person limit per site.
